ICS led the facilities strategic master planning, project development, community engagement, task force facilitation and pre-referendum planning services that led to a successful $38.165 million voter-approved bond referendum in November 2014. Extensive effort was dedicated to engaging the community, gathering feedback and developing options while leveraging several project stakeholder groups throughout the entire process, which spanned over two years.
The successful bond referendum paved the way for a new 170,000 square foot Early Childhood – 12th Grade facility that features ample daylight and various collaborative breakout spaces. With an accelerated construction schedule of only 22 months, ICS provided comprehensive Owner’s Representation services for the facility, complete with two gymnasiums, an auditorium and various program-specific areas including agricultural, woods & metal, art, and music.
The Rushford community, seeking to rebuild after extensive flooding, officially opened their new facility on the 10th anniversary of the flood, signifying a new beginning for their school district and community.
